I come

From a generation of women

Women whom

Keep giving

Women whose hips

Are wide with giving.

Women whom love

And love

And love

Until

They have no love

Left

For themselves.

Women

Who have never

Uttered

The words

“I love you”

But say it

A thousand times

Over

Everyday

With hearts

Wide with

Giving.
